Khalid Mohammed Tazeem
Khalid Mohammed Tazeem is the Founder and Managing Partner of Alpha Venture Investments, bringing more than 20 years of experience across banking, treasury, private banking, acquisitions, alternative investments and principal investing. His career has included senior roles with Barclays, Emaar Industries & Investments, Emirates NBD and Mashreq Private Banking, giving him broad exposure to capital markets, private wealth, direct investments, acquisitions and structured transactions.
Over the course of his career, Khalid has built an extensive network across investors, financial institutions, business owners and senior market participants, while developing a practical understanding of how different businesses, industries and transactions need to be financed and structured. He has experience evaluating acquisition opportunities, shaping capital solutions, coordinating counterparties and helping move transactions from initial opportunity through to execution.
Through AVI, Khalid works with companies, asset owners, investors and strategic partners to identify opportunities, assess the underlying investment case and determine the most appropriate structure for each transaction. Depending on the opportunity, this may involve private equity, private credit, structured capital, real assets or a combination of funding sources. AVI's role is to bring together the commercial opportunity, the appropriate capital structure and the relevant investor or financing relationships needed to move a transaction forward.
